What membership is
The Workup is a paid educational community: member-only educational content (including the member tier of the Workup of the Week and the 12-week pathway), a moderated member discussion space, and a monthly live education call. It is general health education for adults in Australia.
What membership is not
Membership is not a clinical service. Joining does not create a doctor–patient relationship with Dr Hoe Bing Lo (AHPRA MED0001212640) or anyone else, and nothing inside the community — content, discussion, or live calls — is individual medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Decisions about your own care belong with your own treating GP. Membership does not provide, expedite, or discount clinical consultations.
Billing
- Monthly: A$19 per month, charged via Stripe, auto-renews monthly.
- Annual: A$190 per year, charged via Stripe, auto-renews on the same date each year.
- Founding (first 100 members only): A$99 per year, auto-renews at A$99 for as long as the membership remains continuously active.
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime from your member portal (Stripe customer portal) — no lock-in, no exit fee, no cancellation conversation required. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds
Your first charge carries a 14-day no-questions refund — email admin@drhblo.com within 14 days of your first payment. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Community rules
The community runs under posted rules (no individual clinical advice between members; no testimonial-style posts; no Schedule 4 medication recommendations between members; no naming of practitioners or clinics; no promotion of other paid programs). Member posts are reviewed before they publish. Repeated or serious breaches may end a membership, with a pro-rata refund of any unused prepaid period.
Privacy
Member content stays inside the member area. Free-text you enter in educational tools is not attached to your email or any marketing profile (Privacy Act 1988, APP 11.2 posture). See the privacy policy.
